Newbuild MV "BBC ODESA" in service

On 9 November 2023, after five years, we were once again pleased to receive the delivery of a newbuilding for our fleet. Our inspectors were already on site in October when the vessel has completed the first test voyage. It is a heavy-lift vessel with 12,500 dwt. The unit has a length of 147 m and is designed for a speed of 16 knots. It is also equipped with two cranes having a carrying capacity of 250 tons each. The vessel was built at the Sanfu Shipyard in Jiangsu Province (China). The building was carried out in close cooperation with the Briese shipping company. The vessel was named “BBC ODESA” in honor of the famous Ukrainian city.
