joint venture between the shipping companies Jüngerhans and Harren
& Partner, managed by Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Volkens, in order to
efficiently pool the purchasing activities of various shipping companies
within the framework of a joint organization. The synergies resulting
from the management of an extensive fleet of about 200 vessels can
thereby be fully exploited and are noticeable in significant cost
savings.
The nautical and technical inspectors and the officers responsible on board are freed from administrative activities in the areas of logistics / procurement / storage and can therefore fully concentrate on the safe and reliable operation of the vessels.
