Maritime Capital Forum founded

(2014-6-27) The German Maritime Institute (DMI) in June for the first
time held the "Maritime Capital Forum". In the Embassy of South Africa
in Berlin, representatives from politics and administration met to make
themselves more familiar with maritime matters and information.
For the future, a regular forum for an open exchange with the maritime industry shall be provided especially for the working level and the decision planers. At the opening of the forum, the renowned climate scientist Prof. Mojib Latif spoke on the topic: "Why is our future maritime?" Therein, he highlighted the impact of climate change on all maritime areas. With the launch of the new forum, also a new Internet platform was introduced www.dmi-mhf.de for communication between policy makers and experts in the maritime industry.
Andreas Bernaczek, Managing Director of Jüngerhans Investment Service was allowed to there as an expert in vessel financing publish the first specialist article on the current challenges facing the industry and will continue to be available as an expert.
