Management taken over for further container vessel

The technical management of another vessel was with the container vessel MV "NORDIC HAMBURG" taken over. MV "NORDIC HAMBURG" originates from a series of four identical vessels of the type "SSWSuper1000" and is a sister ship of MV "HERCULES J", MV "ARIES J", and MV "PHOENIX J". The vessels were built at the Chinese shipyard Jiangdong and delivered between November of 2009 and January of 2011. Since delivery by the shipyard, MV "NORDIC HAMBURG" was employed by the shipping company Nordic Hamburg. At a length of 151.72 meters and a beam of 23.40 meters, the vessel at a draft of 8.00 meters provides a loading capacity of 13,200 tons (DWT) and a container capacity of 1,036 TEU. The main engine model MAK/Caterpillar 9M43 produces a power of 9,000 kw, generating a speed of 19 knots.
