Delivery of Newbuilding MV "INDUSTRIAL SONG"

The third heavy-lift vessel of the ship series already announced in September 2016 was delivered at the beginning of 2017. MV "INDUSTRIAL SONG" was launched for the company's own fleet and is now the last heavy-lift vessel of the series. MV "INDUSTRIAL SONG" was just like the other vessels built at the Chinese shipyard Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. At a length of 147 meters and a beam of 22.80 meters with a draft of 8.10 meters, a loading capacity of 12,500 tons (dwt) is reached.

ARKON Shipping & Projects has with Intermarine brokered long-term charter employment for the vessels. The first vessel of the "New S-Class 500" comprising four units was already launched last year. The Jüngerhans shipping company has further taken over operations and technical management for two of these vessels which were ordered by a Dutch shipping company group.
